"Baseball", 5 mins short film

A man must recall from memory the opening lines of The Great Gatsby to placate a suspicious girlfriend.

Baseball is wonderfully subtle, layer upon layer — like some literary version of Inception — of falsehood, whose self-aware concessions a kind of odd “truth” may surface from.

Adam's Summer Purgatory, 2008 (2013)

Thought Catalog has published an ebook of my writing from five years ago, which I edited into a cohesive dramatic narrative just recently. The book is called "Adam's Summer Purgatory, 2008 (2013)" and is a no-lies account of a challenging period in my life. I owe thanks to Brandon Gorrell, who put many hours into making it the best thing it could be, and to Brad Troemel, who designed the cover.

You can buy Adam's Summer Purgatory 2008, (2013) for a few dollars on itunes or amazon.

A review by Erik Baker can be read here.

World's Greatest Mining Exporationist (short film)

My brother and I spent a day with David Lowell, a successful octogenarian mining prospector, at his ranch near Nogales, Arizona. I am very happy with how this short film turned out - watching it makes me feel calm.

For more on Lowell check out Tommy's essay on ceo.ca or Business Insider.

UPDATE: The film is now part of the National Mining Hall of Fame.
